Job Description

Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding)
Full-Time | $28–$35/hr | Job Store Staffing Client
Job Store Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire an experienced Process Technician with a strong background in plastic injection molding. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving quality in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform machine start-ups, troubleshooting, and process optimization
  • Develop, document, and maintain molding tolerances and process standards
  • Analyze machine performance data to identify and implement improvements
  • Train and support Set-Up Technicians to ensure adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with Quality, Tooling, and Production teams on part and process qualifications
  • Support mold qualifications, including IQ/OQ/PQ and PPAP
  • Complete production reports accurately and participate in shift handoffs
  • Continuously expand knowledge of materials and molding techniques
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding
  • Strong understanding of Scientific Molding principles
  • Experience with mold qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ, PPAP)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and improve processes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay range: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
