Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding)

Job Store Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire an experienced Process Technician with a strong background in plastic injection molding. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving quality in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform machine start-ups, troubleshooting, and process optimization
- Develop, document, and maintain molding tolerances and process standards
- Analyze machine performance data to identify and implement improvements
- Train and support Set-Up Technicians to ensure adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with Quality, Tooling, and Production teams on part and process qualifications
- Support mold qualifications, including IQ/OQ/PQ and PPAP
- Complete production reports accurately and participate in shift handoffs
- Continuously expand knowledge of materials and molding techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding
- Strong understanding of Scientific Molding principles
- Experience with mold qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ, PPAP)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and improve processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
