Production Supervisor
Location: Colorado Springs
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 per year
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and optimize daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety while coaching and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff in machining, fabricating, welding, assembling, or processing operations. Organize and monitor workflow to meet production goals.
- Communicate job expectations, monitor performance, provide coaching, and enforce policies and procedures.
- Schedule and assign personnel to meet production plans, monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO 9001/2015 requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with other manufacturing departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Create and justify purchase requisitions to support production needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production or Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Experience operating and supervising diverse manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Skilled in employee performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adept at problem-solving.
- High School Diploma required; further technical training is a plus.
