Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our client's team. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support operations. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.

Pay Range: $20-30/hours
Location: North Colorado Springs
Duration: Temporary (approximately 4 weeks)

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services in alignment with production schedules and company standards
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best combination of price, quality, and delivery terms
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with production to maintain adequate stock
  • Create and manage purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and resolve any discrepancies with vendors
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and optimize supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain required
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
