Job Overview:
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead our quality assurance efforts, overseeing product inspection and testing to ensure consistency and compliance. Your primary focus will be implementing quality control systems, inspecting products at various stages, and ensuring that all processes meet ISO 9001 and AS9120B standards. You'll also work closely with production staff to identify and rectify defects, while preparing detailed reports on quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products during the manufacturing process.
- Ensure that products meet industry standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9120B.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare quality reports.
- Manage deadlines for product delivery while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Train and supervise production line staff in quality control methods.
- Conduct thorough inspections of final products and track products through each stage of production.
- Identify root causes of production issues and eliminate substandard products from the process.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize human error and waste due to defective parts.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of quality standards and industry regulations (ISO 9001 and AS9120B certifications required).
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills for writing reports and conveying information in meetings.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Experience in analyzing production processes to identify flaws and implement solutions.
