This is an on-site position based in Englewood, Colorado and will not offer remote or hybrid work. We are looking for someone to be hands on and able to work directly with the production, manufacturing and quality team.
Schedule: Onsite position. Primarily Day Shift, Monday- Friday, with off-shift and weekend work
Salary 80-95K Plus Excellent benefits package!
General Description:
The Sr. Calibration Technician / Engineer reports to the Director, Operations and works both independently and in a team environment to assist in scheduling, executing, and documenting the Instrument calibration, certification, and/or qualification of cGMP production equipment, building management, building environment or utility systems The Sr. Calibration Technician will be responsible to develop, perform and maintain all calibration activities in Blue Mountain RAM computerized asset management system. The Sr. Calibration Tech will become a subject matter expert in Blue Mountain RAM to develop and implement new processes, data queries and reports to fully utilize the system to support Facilities activities. All work will be done in compliance with FDA, DEA, EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Essential Functions:
Coordinating or managing calibration activities including testing and maintenance of calibration standards, equipment and supplies.
Calibrates equipment in-house and using external vendors to industry standards.
SME of Blue Mountain RAM, developing and implementing new processes, data queries and reports.
Calibrations will be developed, scheduled, and performed in Blue Mountain RAM.
Develop and implement calibration procedures, templates, queries and reporting.
Troubleshoots equipment failures along with Maintenance and Engineering team
Conducts equipment repairs associated with instrumentation.
Initiate instrument and equipment upgrades due to obsolescence, improved functionality, reliability or performance.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications. establishing personal networks.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assigned work in a timely manner and in coordination with other departments and system owners.
Participate in safety & EH&S programs.
Hours may vary depending on business needs.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY SKILLS:
Advanced proficiency with office computer software including Microsoft office
Excellent teamwork skills.
Strong trouble shooting skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to access all areas of facility including rooftop, mezzanine and controlled environment (e.g. ISO 5) environments.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in calibration and instrumentation.
Previous experience in an FDA-regulated environment, using Blue Mountain RAM and MS Office are desired.
