Job Store Staffing is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for our client in Colorado Springs! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments with great attention to detail.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay Rate: $20-22 per hour
Location: North West Colorado Springs, CO, 80920
Shipping and Receiving Associate Duties:
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, including freight packages and purchased materials
- Validate shipping contents against purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors about shipment statuses, damaged items, and incomplete orders
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions using the system
- Obtain Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) as needed
- Collaborate with the corporate division and internal engineering team on order information
- Manage international shipping and maintain relationships with brokers
- Complete database entries and generate department reports
- Assist with Government Property lifecycle, including property transfer and tagging
- Support the Facility Manager and assist with other tasks as needed
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments required
- Forklift operation experience required
- Previous inventory management experience required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience using ERP systems such as Costpoint
- Ability to inspect parts according to print or specifications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable working in an indoor environment that may be moderately loud and physically demanding
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks
