Job Description

Slitting Operator – Temp to Hire
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Seeking a Slitting Operator to set up, operate, and maintain slitting machines. This role includes checking materials, monitoring quality, and preparing finished rolls for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up slitter and operate machine according to work orders
  • Ensure correct materials and coding are used
  • Monitor cutting/winding for quality and accuracy
  • Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance
  • Complete documentation accurately
  • Label, wrap, and palletize finished product
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of experience in production, slitting, or printing
  • Ability to read rulers, gauges, and use micrometers
  • Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
  • High school diploma preferred; forklift experience a plus
