Slitting Operator – 1st Shift | $20/hr | Temp-to-Hire

We are currently hiring for a Slitting Operator position in Louisville, CO. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering consistent hours and room for long-term growth. Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 1st Shift | Full-time

Pay Rate:

• $20.00 per hour

Job Summary:
As a Slitting Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining slitting equipment to cut laminated film into precise widths according to customer specifications. This role involves attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate slitting machines
• Ensure proper materials and specifications are used
• Conduct pre-run testing and visual inspections
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality output
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance
• Wrap, label, and palletize finished products for shipment
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Follow all safety and production guidelines

Requirements:

• 2+ years of production or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to read rulers, gauges, and use micrometers
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
