Job Description
Job Store Staffing is hiring Blasting Technicians for one of our clients located in North West Colorado Springs. This company specializes in manufacturing vacuum pump repair kits, surplus parts and accessories.
The position is temporary for 2-3 months long and pays on a weekly basis!
The ideal candidate has a great attendance track record, is detailed, and a true team player.
Salary Range: $14.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, some overtime as needed
Requirements:
- Attendance/Functionality is Key
- A background check and drug screen are conducted upon offer
- Must be able to lift 30-50lbs consistently without issues
- Must be able to stand throughout entire full-time shift
- Must be able to commit to hours of Monday thru Friday 7:30 to 4pm
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean parts from disassembly with Parts Washer and blasting machine.
- Must stay organized with parts.
- Wear PPE throughout the day.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on shop equipment as needed. This includes but is not limited to daily and monthly PM’s as well as machine upkeep.
- Safe use of hoists and hydraulic lifts to lift and transport heavy parts
- Candidate must be able to work on his/her feet the entire day
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping a tidy workspace and
- Observing policies regarding safe work practices and personal protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
