Job Store Staffing is seeking a Temporary Recruiter for our client in Colorado Springs!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Human Resources and looking to gain broad experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys connecting with people.
Pay Range: $20-25/hour
Duration: Temporary for 2-4 weeks
Location: South Colorado Springs, 80910
This position will be 100% onsite.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a light industrial or high-volume environment
- Familiarity with HR software systems such as Paylocity, Paycom, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; JazzHR experience is a plus
JOB DUTIES
- Conduct initial phone screens and cold calls to potential candidates
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers
- Maintain and update recruiting spreadsheets and ATS
- Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding, and offboarding
- Administer background checks, drug screens, and new hire paperwork
- Provide backup support to payroll
- Track employee data and assist with audits and compliance
- Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs
- Support HR projects, safety initiatives, training, and ISO compliance
- Maintain I-9s and process E-Verify
