Job Store Staffing is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Operator for our Christian ministry client.
Our client is seeking a candidate who embodies the core beliefs of their organization. Therefore, to be considered for this position, you must sign the company’s Statement of Faith.
Location: Palmer Lake, CO; 80133
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Workdays may end at 4:00pm due to production needs
- Overtime may be required during peak seasons
Duration: Long Term, Contract to Hire
Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 / hour (depending on candidate qualifications)
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that resources are timely and efficiently distributed to better serve our ministry partners
- Pack resources for shipment according to Warehouse Manager specifications
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing packages agree to necessary documentation and specifications
- Examine all shipments for accuracy and fully document and follow up with any discrepancies
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Operate a forklift
- Keep the warehouse organized
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification is required (if none, must acquire within 90 days of hire)
- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Demonstrates dependability and can follow manager instructions and directions with a humble spirit
- Strives to increase productivity by completing tasks efficiently
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to operate heavy machinery with minimal accommodation
