Job Store Professional is seeking an experienced hands-on Warehouse Manager for an excellent Direct Hire Opportunity!
Warehouse manager will lead, direct and assist a Warehouse Team where your skills are vital and necessary to achieve the day’s goals. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and works collaboratively with our centralized Sales Team. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to assist in multiple areas of the warehouse at any given time. This position is a working Manager’s position that regularly requires overtime
Schedule Monday- Friday 7:30AM-5:15PM
Salary: $60,000 plus Benefits and Monthly profit sharing after 30 days
Essential Duties and Responsibilities associated with position include:
Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
Initiate and/or coordinate daily, monthly, and yearly Inventory audits and/or cycle counts to ensure optimal inventory accuracy
Maintains physical condition of the Warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repairs.
Maintain and manage the use of Warehouse equipment and tools. This includes sit-down propane forklift, stand-up electric reach truck, as well as light industrial tools and other heavy machinery.
Required to supervise and assist with the following daily warehousing functions: receiving, assembly, stock keeping, space management, picking, packing, shipping, product slotting, and cycle counting.
Schedule and oversee team to meet the demands of the Warehouse, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency, minimize expenses, while meeting customer service standards
Meet regularly with Operations Manager to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans to support the company’s overall vision and ensure process performance standards are being met (productivity, customer order errors, inventory accuracy, safety, etc.)
Committed to improve processes, reduce quality issues, and maintain a neat, organized, healthy and safe work environment
Daily freight carrier management to ensure customer orders are picked up and that we are meeting our same day shipping guarantee to our customers
Responsible for effective communications and collaboration across company functions – Distribution, Customer Service, & Quality Control
Responsible for ensuring warehouse personnel follow all safety procedures and record keeping
Vendor Management: Uniform; Pallet/Crate; Electrician; Forklift Maintenance; Fire Extinguisher; etc.
