Job Description
Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced hardworking, focused Welder for a company in the Louisville area!
Pay: $24-26.00/hr
Hours: Mon- Fri 5AM-1:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Positions, aligns, fits and weld together parts using (slot & tab) construction
- Provides first articles to Q/A for inspection.
- Completes logbooks to verify the maintenance as required by manufactures recommendations of welding equipment.
- Maintains clean and orderly work environment.
- Review print and router to ensure material received for job is correct.
- MIG and TIG welded parts as defined in specification sheets.
Required Skills:
- 2 years’ experience in a welding shop environment or demonstrated proficiency in basic welding procedures.
- Ability to read measurements.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and understand welding symbols and specifications.
- Basic Math and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to stand 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Exposure to seasonal temperature extremes and elevated noise level.
