Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (35 hours a week)
Pay Range: $17-19/hour
Location: East Central Colorado Springs, 80915
We're looking for a candidate with an exceptional attendance record, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. Passing a UA Drug Screen, including testing for THC, is a requirement. Skills Needed:
- At least one year working woodworking experience (solid hardwoods and MDF)
- Experience with table saws, radial arm saws, jointers, planer, band saws, wide belt sanders and double miter saw.
- An eye for detail and be highly organized
- Able to self-manage timelines and communicate updates on completion
- Work well individually or within a group.
- Work well with short or changing timelines.
Job Duties:
- Operating woodworking machinery: table saw, radial arm saw, planer, wide belt sander, straight-line rip saw, horizontal re-saw
- Sorting, gluing, and dimensioning hardwood lumber
- Accurate measuring using tape measures and calipers
- General shop duties and maintenance
- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
